Corrupt politicians and the SC governor
Why is this stuff so hard for politicians to do? I am really glad a fellow Republican is calling for this governor to resign, especially since I saw on Fox News that there are reports that the governor used tax money for some of his visits to see his mistress.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – A top South Carolina Republican leader says philandering Gov. Mark Sanford should resign and practice the philosophy he's preached of holding GOP leaders accountable. Glenn McCall is one of the state's two national representatives to the Republican National Committee. He's also a county party chairman and said Thursday that party members want Sanford out.
McCall says Sanford repeatedly has said party leaders should be held accountable for not upholding the GOP's principles. And McCall says the married father of four should be held to the same standard.
The governor returned Wednesday from an international trip to see his mistress in Argentina. Hours later he publicly revealed that he's been having an affair for the past year.
Why didn't the Democrats do this when that guy from Louisiana (Jefferson is his name I think) got caught with a bunch of money in his freezer? We have clear corruption and lying by Jefferson and infidelity and lying, with the possibility of corruption, from the governor and only 1 politician calls for the governor to resign?
I sure hope we finally get some decent people into office. I really think term limits for all state and hoigher offices needs to happen so we can get a handle on this corruption.

I have to agree with a quote from former Treasury Secretary William E. Simon: "Bad politicians are sent to Washington by good people who don't vote."
