Let's start a movement to oust ALL incumbent politicians.

How about it? Every political office you can vote for, vote for a challenger instead of the incumbent. We have to get it in their heads that they are ALL part of the problem and will be ousted by voting.

I might be the one nutjob holding a flag, and it probably won't do any good, but we have to change the MINDSET of our elected officials. It is time they represent the electorate, not take advantage of them.

They'll just rig the elections so it won't matter, and if that doesn't work and someone gets elected they don't want, they'll JFK their ass. It's a losing battle, the whole system is a farce and needs to be completely replaced.

Our government needs our help, they have an addiction. Our government is addicted to our money. Since they always have our best interest at heart it's time we return the favor. We need to have an intervention, for the governments own good of course. It's just irresponsible for us to let people with a known money addiction continue to handle our money. Lets have an intervention now so we can help these sick individuals.

I'm with you. All of these scumbags need to be flushed.
Only problem with runny shit when flushed are the few floaters that swim back up.

Even if you do that, the real problem remains in Washington.

All men should know Honor first, above all else!

Honor is not holding your hand out for something you did not earn.
Honor is not forcing your ideas, or belief on others.
Honor is not something given to you by way of job, or title.

Honor is learned, earned, practiced and respected by all decent men and women.

the only problem is the people I really want to kick out aren't my representatives. Pelosi, Reid etc.... What is overly offensive about Cornyn and Hutchison's voting record?

Easy. Go to other districts, tell them you lost your card, that your name is Roberto Martinez or Chlamydia Johnson and you're gold. Vote accordingly...

There are lost of flaws with this idea, but the main purpose is still valid. How about term limits instead?

As I said before, it won't mean jack if you don't get a real handle on the lobbyists.

Hell, you can keep every fuckin' politician we currently have and get a huge improvement if you can just remove the influence of lobbyists.

IMO you can't cut back on a lobby's right to contact a politician, however you MUST find a way to get the money under control. In all honesty, I have no idea how it should be done but until you get our politicians out from under lobbyist influence you'll never see a REAL CHANGE in our government.

I am all about changing the way lobbyists work also. I think term limits would be a first step. The lobbyists would have to figure out who is in and who is out while we try and get them and their crooked sh!t under control.

But I dont think having term limits is that great. If the new guy works, let him keep his job. If we voted the old guy out and the new one suck, do it again.

Term limits are a great idea. There isn't any job in the world that should be virtually guaranteed for life once you get it.
