Chapter 11's begin

I just got a letter in the mail from a lawyer. Fleetwood is filing Chapter 11. Lucky for me they don't owe me anything. I don't know of any other large companies that have filed already, maybe this is just the beginning?

That sucks! I'm curious how the RV industry as a whole will fair considering they represent everything the liberals hate, self reliance, freedom, financial independence, gas guzzlers, long distance driving and family stability.

Chapter 11 is just a bailout so allot of these companies will file it this year if they can get away with it regardless

the RV business is pretty much screwed.

Interesting.....California has (had) the highest RV sales of any state.

I think that there are a lot of companies that are barely hanging on, cutting to the bone and maybe running on credit cards, hoping for an upswing. When the money and options run out their only choice is to file. I cashed out of my company several months ago because I saw the writing on the wall, but I believe that my ex partners haven't been paid for 6 months now. But they are still hanging in there, running on savings and the wife's salary.

A lot of conservatives and rednecks out there, don't fool yourself. They just give up representation to the assholes in San Fran, Sacramento, LA, and San Diego.

I'd bet the majority of the sales were people in the central valley and northern Cali.
