i can't believe that they're up...they're still going to need billions to keep going. i was watching fox news last night and they were talking about how fannie mae was giving out millions in bonuses but, for some reason, nobody was making a big deal about it....everyone is focusing on aig.

I could not believe it this morning . Both FRE and FNM were up big time . I was going to double down when it got way down there but figured it was throwing good money after dead money .

I didn't want to be holding it thru the weekend, I might buy some more later down the road. But I'll take a quick buck and run.

I did the same thing with DAN and BAC . I personally do not think these gains over the past week and half will hold .

Same. Just recovered most of the money my portfolio lost over the past 6 months with my FNM stock alone, so I'll unloading all of it and running, not walking, away with my money.

Dumped some Ford at 2.72 as well this week I had picked up at 2.0x ish. Still holding onto a few other short term things so we'll see how it goes.

I kick myself for not getting into BAC when it was at its low.

Nate, just curious, what other short term investments do you have?

DRYS - bought some around 4.1x

Longterm I like Constellation energy (CEG) and CSCO. Also might pick up some MSFT and BAC if we retest the low's.

I jumped on WAL at 4.07 a couple weeks back. Got into ORLY on the announcement that it's going to be an S&P 500 component. We'll see what happens.

I dumped some of my GM this morning in pre market . I think I am going to convert it to preferred stock or just buy something else . The GM call options weren't bringing shit so there was no use in me holding the common stock .
