Congress does something right!

Fuck NAFTA! Let them drop their shit off at the border and let US drivers move the stuff across the states. They can tariff all they want! We should start rounding up illegals by the truck load and shipping them back to Mexico

Fuck NAFTA. Railroad Executives have wet dreams at night about sending American Railroaders 25 miles into mexico to operate trains. They have been pushing this pretty hard for the last couple years and tell the unions that we operate on unsustainable fears about the railroad requiring us to work in a foreign country. Never mind the fact that they send out memos telling us to remove everything that isn't nailed down to any Locomotive that is headed into Mexico.

What if an engineer were to get shot 25 miles into Mexico? Ruh, roh. NOTHING can be done. With the violence going on right now (especially in the border towns), that would be a huge risk.

Maybe we need Mexico to get shitty about this to draw attention to the entire illegal alien issue?

Oh Lord I hope so. With states like California shutting them off the entire sentiment will change towards illegals and if their home country gets bitchy, we'll start filling 40'containers full of their citizens and air dropping them back to Mexico.

Thats what the unions are arguing and the Railroads claim that since they provide us with a safe working enviroment in the United States there is no reason to beleive they couldn't do the same in Mexico. My thoughts on the subject are this. If Mexico is so great why doesn't Corporate move their head quarters to Nuevo Laredo.

I say we treat Mexican workers and illegals just like they would treat American workers and illegals in their country. That would solve this problem real quick.

I have to agree with a quote from former Treasury Secretary William E. Simon: "Bad politicians are sent to Washington by good people who don't vote."
