Looks like senator burris has some explaining to do.......

He had something to do with trying to raise funds for blago.

I look for more dirt to be uncovered soon.

Illinois is apparently a filthy political environment.

Also, he testified that he had no contact with blago, and now he's changing his story.

Filthy, filthy, filthy. Another sterling, peerless obama associate.

This Burris guy looks like more of a tool than that press secretary that turned on Bush. If the heat gets too much for him and he has dirt on the Messiah, he will throw him under the bus in a NY minute if he thinks it will save his ass.

I have to agree with a quote from former Treasury Secretary William E. Simon: "Bad politicians are sent to Washington by good people who don't vote."

Illinois politics is a nasty bitch. It always has been. I find it hard to believe that Comrade Barry is unscathed in all the debauchery that has come out of Illinois.
Apparently, Rahm Emmanuel has some 'splaining to do, too. Living in a "colleagues" luxury townhome for a few years rent-free is drawing some attention.

You know where I stand as far as "viable leadership" for this country, and I'm not saying there couldn't be some nasty stories from his short term in the senate, but the opportunity for this situation didn't rear it's ugly head until after Barry had resigned his seat to become POTUS. I really don't see him inviting trouble from getting mired in some local cheap political bs.

Talk is cheap because supply exceeds demand!

After all the accusations that were around him during his run for POTUS, he made it through. For all his faults (and there are many), someone would really need a smoking gun to get him for anything. It just shows the political climate he came up in.

I'm baffled by how many people think the nickname "the windy city" relates to the weather there.
