I'm hearing on other sites that if GM files BK , we could see 5000 on the DJIA .......

Wont happen. It should, but it wont. The dems wont let anything happen to their precious Union constituency.

I agree that they will not let the UAW get the shaft but I bet we see a decent size sell off Tuesday on fears that GM will file Ch 11 . Might be a damn good buying opportunity if the don't file because the market should rebound back to the 8000's .

Why is that? The rumor is that GM will go bankrupt, so buy into that near the end of day, and then unload into the rally when the gubment swoops in and saves em.

I was talking about the rest of the market selling on the rumor and then buying it back if they do not announce the BK filing .
