Another failed Barry appointee?

Nancy Killefer, "performance czar", has withdrawn her nomination due to...you guessed it! Tax problems! HOLY SHIT, people! Instead of raising our taxes, why not have the rich liberals just pay the taxes they owe? This is becoming a bad comedy skit...

sooo, how many dems does that make again?

I always wondered why rich dems were so willing to raise taxes, when they would be affected, now i know they didnt plan on paying their share regardless.

Yep. Why would you care what your tax-rate is if you're not going to pay anyway?

This is getting to be like a broken record.

This just proves these people do not give a shit. They don't pay their taxes, knowing they are in a position of heavy scrutiny. If I were in that position, I would damn well make sure I dotted my I's and crossed my T's. Pure lack of respect for Americans

Isn't it funny how Barry's supporter's on this board, haven't had the balls to say one word in his defense? They're smarter than I gave them credit for.

I have said it before... I don't defend stupidity. You would think somewhere on the 1000 page application Obama sent out it would have said...

"Did you pay all your taxes in the last 15 years?"

"Are you sure?"

"Have you had an independent accountant make sure for you?"

"Again, are you sure? Oh, and did you have a nanny?"

See, I think the whole point is that they don't care. With his popularity soaring (2 weeks ago), they thought they could just ram these people down our collective throats. It's not happening. It's pretty evident (as it was to some of us earlier on) that Barry is a rotten judge of character. We're all judged by the company we keep, and he has proven to be no exception to that rule.

I was noticing the same thing. They sure were here right before and right after the election.

Maybe even they have come to see the light.

I will now go out on a limb and say he will have the most scandal ridden Presidency in history. Imagine what skeletons his people have that haven't come out if we already know all this?

Biden has more skeletons in his closet than a George A. Romero movie. I'm telling you, the "messiah" could have run with Linda Lovelace on his ticket and it wouldn't have mattered. At least when the pressure got bad, she wouldn't "choke"...

Nope they do not give a shit at all. They sign "trade" agreements that only benefit other countries and cost americans thousands of jobs.

Love my country but this "government" is a fucking joke, they all need to be shot!

Not a mention of his non arabic speaking ambassador to Iraq?

I can't believe John Thune hasn't been nominated for any type of cabinet position either. Obviously the people of South Dakota thought he was a better leader than Daschle, Obama should to.

There is an interview on CBS with the Messiah right now and he is saying that he doesn't want to send a bad signal that his administration has a double standard and will not pay thier taxes now that Daschle has withdrawn. I guess he has forgotten that Daschle was the 3rd person he nominated and the first one got the position and the last 2 have withdrawn. He also left out that less than 24 hours ago he gave a vote of confidence in Daschle and now has backtracked.

Didn't the liberals have a field day when Bush gave a vote of confidence in the Homeland Security guy right before he resigned? Where is the outrage at the Messiah doing the same thing?

Where did I ever get the opinion that liberals and Dems are hypocrites?

The ship is still afloat just give it time, his halo will tarnish, his feet will not walk on the water as people think they will now and they will finally see he can not speak as well as they thought he could and when he stumbles the news will start to jump on the"lets get him" bandwagon and downhill he will go. poor white/black man

His supporters are still waiting on their car/house/flat screen tv checks from him, the discontent has yet to set in. But at this screwup rate IMO it'll happen soon. His supporters cannot keep making excuses for him forever.

As funny as this is, it scares me, too. The man can't even find a capable staff. What happens when there's a real decision to be made? It's obvious he's a horrible judge of character. Most of his relationships appear to be with people of questionable integrity, whether you go back to his ties in Chicago or his more recent picks for his cabinet. The world is watching his every move, probably with more scrutiny than us. He will be tested beyond belief, and to think that he holds our collective lives in his very incapable hands, is frightening. Until then, though, it's Comedy Central!

I don't think it's going to matter one iota. We're going to blunder along, they'll find apppointees, then the media will crow about what great selections were made. All this will not be mentioned.

Same old shit tarnishing coverage we've grown accustomed too...

They are covering the two nominees who dropped out, but barely mention that he has already gotten a nominee in who also failed to pay his taxes. The double standard the media has right now with how they treat the Messiah and how they treated Bush is sickening.

If Bush had appointed someone who had not paid their taxes they would have crucified him.

I think were at stage 7

A democracy is always temporary in nature: it simply cannot exist as a permanent form of government. A democracy will continue to exist up until the time voters discover they can vote themselves generous gifts from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always vote for the candidates who promise the most benefits from the public treasury, with the result that every democracy will finally collapse due to loose fiscal policy, which is always followed by a dictatorship. The average age of the world's greatest civilizations from the beginning of history, has been about 200 years. During those 200 years, those nations always progressed through the following sequence:

1. From bondage to spiritual faith;
2. From spiritual faith to great courage;
3. From courage to liberty;
4. From liberty to abundance;
5. From abundance to complacency;
6. From complacence to apathy;
7. From apathy to dependence;
8. From dependence back into bondage

Yeah your right. I got confused by all the people who feel entitled that depend on the government to help them out. I guess these type of people feel that way no matter what step society is in.
