dirty illinois/chicago politics

illinois governor was arrested for trying to sell obama's senate seat (after running on a campaign to clean up corruption from the FORMER illinois governor). Unbelievable. And this is the sandbox that obama came from? scary........

I wonder if Blagojevich has anything on Obama? If so, he will probably come up dead in a week or so.

The same thought came up. And Blagojevich could be using this as protection. I doubt it though since yesterday he was on tv saying he was clean, and that the feds could wiretape his phones all they want.

IMO, he's a stupid man with a horrible haircut that is just a small pawn in a larger statewide corruption ring. We all know who is the capstone of that ring is.

I'd be willing to put money on him saying what he did yesterday as an attempt to soften the blow.

I see at some point Barry being taken out of the oval office in handcuffs.

A lot of this is Patrick Fitzgerald (US Attorney for Northern Illinois) trying to keep his job under an Obama presidency.

speaking of that, I see today where a whistleblower is spilling his guts about dealing with tony rezinko (sp?). Seems like barry's friends are all on their way to jail.

I hope this doesn't go all the way to Obama, becuase the country doesn't need that kind of corruption right now.

I do feel that if there is corruption that leads to Obama we should know about it and get rid of him though.

Chicago and Illinois were always considered to be full of corruption, but now they are closing in on New Orleans and Louisiana. Obama may push Chicago into first in the next few years though.

The new governor of Louisiana, Bobby Jindal, has dramatically cleaned up the state. Illinois has definitely moved to No.1.
