I can't tell if you guys ignored this thread because I posted it, or because you simply can't deny that John McCain is a Socialist.

What are you trying to prove with the video? That he acknowledges we have a graduated income tax?

Number 1, a softball lobber like Larry King rattled that guy. You could tell he wasn't expecting to be shown that Obama's plan isn't much different from what's already in place. And 2, Larry King called him out when he said that Obama's plan was for personal taxes, NOT business taxes (Which Samuel the Plumber's apprentice didn't know). To which McCain answered sheepishly uninformed.

I guess I am being closed minded because I fail to see what the issue is with what McCain is saying.

The current tax plan is graduated, yes. The tax plan does NOT spread the wealth around as Obama wants. The only redistribution is to those people that cannot work and those that are too damn lazy to work.

I don't make a lot of money and am close to what some consider the poverty line, and I don't see shit for help from the government. In fact, in 2007 I paid $2,619 toward my federal income taxes. When it came time for the refund, I only but $44 back making my tax $2,575.

My taxable income was under $20k (according to my 1040a), which put my tax rate at ~13%.

HOW THE FUCK IS THAT ALREADY SPREADING THE WEALTH?

There is a difference you twit. Obama's "tax cut" is actually tax credits. This means people who pay zero income taxes will get a check. Under the current system if there is a tax cut, you pay less in taxes. If you pay nothing, you get nothing since the tax cut doesn't affect you.
