He hasn't picked the next President yet.

I hope he picks Biden. That arrogant prick is just as liberal as Obama and will polarize the country even more so.

So...why would you want our country to be even more divided?

I don't. From a political stand point, I want the Dems to be over the edge left so people realize how foolish they really are.

It's time for some common sense in this country and unfortunately we need people to act like total asses before the majority wakes up.

Plus Biden will provide tons of ammo for the Reps to use.

Based on the last 8 years...that shit don't work. I don't think the pendulum effect will help. I think it's the problem.

I couldn't agree more with that "common sense" comment, but sadly, common sense has left the building.

The latest Zogby poll from yesterday, shows Obama 5 points BELOW McCain. That is a huge drop from the last two weeks for Obama. The end is near...

I think hillary would be good for Obama, she is much more moderate, she has a much better economic plan, her political record is actually similar to McCain they have even worked together on some bills, so she might be able to bring voters over to obamas side that are on the fence.

I could see one or the other of them maybe getting elected, but there is no way the american public would elect them both on the same ticket.

Dallas news reports Tony Romo tried to commit suicide last night!

Fortunately he dropped the gun and the bullet was intercepted!

I disagree . I think Clinton on the ticket brings back the voters that voted against Obama and could very well swing the vote over to the democrats . I would like to see Rice in the VP spot for McCain . I think that would basically guarantee him the white house and if something happens to him , I'm sure she could handle the hot seat just fine .

Maybe so but I think you are underestimating the democratic party and the pack of blinded morons . The 2000's is shaping up to be another 1980's and after 12 years of that Americans decided to give slick Willy two cracks at the white house . It could happen again ........

Absolutely not. I'm just saying what it would take to get this place cleaned out. My family's security is a major priority to me. Whatever needs to happen should happen. I will take every measure necessary to take care of them. Just because it happens and I think it should, doesn't mean that it is my fault. I'm just not going to pretend that our problems are growing so large that anything less than a civil war won't fix it. In a utopian society, sure, but we live among too many dipshits to fix our problems diplomatically.

I know what you're thinking, but no, war doesn't give me a hard-on. I do not take pleasure in knowing many lives get lost to fix problems. I only know that there are some very important issues that only get resolved through war. If it's a cause I believe in, I'll be the first to participate. There are wars that happen that I don't believe should happen as well (take Georgia and Darfur, for instance). But I do think it'll take war to resolve those as well. The resolution part, I can back.

Some of us really don't like it, but we're real. We know what has to be done. My civil war comment was a little sarcastic, but if you don't think this country is headed for civil war, then you're either ignorant, blind or in denial. This country has never been so divided, right now, since the last civil war. Who the fuck votes to go into a country with force, only to protest it when the results don't come fast enough?!?! Only America. Some of us are now too spoiled by our own dominance and success. Unfortunately, they're not the ones who go out and deal directly with these issues. Hell, they're usually the ones who don't even go out to the source to even offer support or get first-hand updates. I hate the turn this country has taken. I don't hate the country or what it stands for, though. This country peaked during WWII. Talk about unification for a certain cause. The USA of the 40's is far greater than the USA of today. I saw what it would be like, though, about September 12, 2001, but that didn't last long. I guess it takes more than that incident to unify this nation. Sad.

The only reason Hillary went moderate was because she thought that would get her the nomination. She underestimated the far left moveon.org crowd terribly and it cost her the nomination. Make no mistake, she is a true hard core liberal.

You only have to look at Obama taking all of Hillary's positions after he got the nomination to see that.

A sensible choice, and you're probably right. My "Hillary" pick was a bit tongue in cheek. Though she could bring in her voting faithful, the brother would have to walk around in a bullet-proof suit day and night. With her and Bill both speaking before him, Barry will feel like he was raped by the Harlem Globetrotters by the time he gets to speak at the convention.
Grape- you make a good point, and the same could be said for 2000 and 2004! Clinton leaves office with a 80+ approval rating, and the Dems run Al fucking Gore!
They should have walked into the Whitehouse that year in a landslide. 2004, they run a weak-ass John Kerry/John Edwards ticket against a Prez with a VERY unpopular war on his hands, and they fuck that up, too. Now they run the second coming of Karl Marx for criss-sakes, and they will lose again.

The "left" has hijacked the Democratic Party as we knew it. I feel for the true Dems (mainly older folks) who have really lost their party...

Right (pun intended). The Democratic Party has made a complete change. Mainly by jumping on the saveing the "world owes me a living" crowd and using their "rights and liberties" as excuses for personal gain and deferring blame, but that can only go so far.

I think Obama believes Hillary will undermine him all the way to and in the White House. I don't think he'll pick her. But not picking her, will probably put the nail in the coffin for his electability.

just an fyi...apparently some of the stern guys played a trick on this one particular guy. he signed up for an e-mail update from obama's camp, sal and richard came up with a fake e-mail name and address and sent him the fake email. he assumed that it was from obama's campaign, so he believed it.
