Obama on Russian Georgian conflict

Quote:
I strongly condemn the outbreak of violence in Georgia, and urge an immediate end to armed conflict, Obama said in a written statement. Now is the time for Georgia and Russia to show restraint and to avoid an escalation to full-scale war. Georgias territorial integrity must be respected.
Quote:
Obama issued a boilerplate statement that generically demanded that everyone start getting along, and had to modify his stance as his 300 foreign-policy advisers had a chance to tutor him on the conflict.

Id rather vote for the man who gets it right and has spent years studying foreign affairs, warfare, and American strategic needs than the man who makes it up as he goes along. McCain is right; this was a 3 AM moment, and Obama proved himself unprepared and unsuited to answer the call.

His entire campaign is a sham. Concocted by the media. Now we're finding out that IF the mainstream press had listened to the rumors of Edwards' infidelity, Hillary would have won the primary.(Edwards got 29% of the vote, most of which would have gone to Hillary)

CHL holder and Conservative...AKA "Domestic Terrorist"

I believe Obama's new policy is to say the exact thing McCain does, just minutes afterwards and claim credit for it.

Pericles "Freedom is the sure possession of those alone who have the courage to defend it. "

"[T]he people alone have an incontestable, unalienable, and indefeasible right to institute government and to reform, alter, or totally change the same when their protection, safety, prosperity, and happiness require it." --Samuel Adams

That would work until McCain makes a internet video making fun of Obama for copying him. I think the way McCain has "thrown dirt" at Obama is the best I have ever seen.

Obama is about to get attacked on how American he really is by the McCain camp. Hillary had this in her war chest, but she was affraid to use it. Most people don't realize that Obama spent the majority of his childhood in Hawaii and Indonesia. Some might argue that his core along with his views might not be very much American at all. How can you be raised American when your 2k miles from the main land? Of course anyone with half a brain already knows this. The other half will call this a race attack. Of course we all know an under privileged African American that grew up in Hawaii, traveled the world, and went to the best schools money could buy.

Thats like saying Laredo has no Mexican traditions. Hawaii has it's own customs and beliefs and when compared to mainstream America they aren't a close match.

Obama has shown his priorities... screw another President who stays on vacation through critical times. You earn your vacations and time off just like anyone else, but there are times to interrupt them. I'm not THAT MUCH of a McCain fan, but the old fucker is definately growing on me.

In the OP it says Obama changed his mind, right? What was his original stance? When did he change it?

Edit: Read the link, never mind.

Oh Bama, when will you learn?

Actually, i'm expecting:
"What about when bush (1 or 2) blah blah blah crushed my hopes and dreams of being a communist blah blah blah."

Now that i've said that, he'll probably completely ignore the OP and decide to reply to my post only.

Yeh, Bush had SO much foreign diplomacy experience when he took over

Eating enchilada's with Vincente Fox was about it.

Face the facts, we haven't had a REAL president in 20 years. 2008-2012 will be no exception.

What I posted wasn't some deep dark secret. It's out there in the open if anyone took the time to actually look into the background of politicans. You only have to do a little reading and connect a few dots to see thru the bullshit these assclowns try to shove down the throats of the American People.

and yet 90% of the voters in the US won't do that and PURELY depend on the media to tell them who to vote for... Sad shit!
