Black churches. Breeding hate against whites since the 1800's?

It seems to me they go to "church" to complain rather than worshiping. Why use the church as a shield to gather and b!tch about whites? Rev Wright's angry sermons remind me of a black lady at my old job who told me that they spent an entire Sunday School complaining about how the No Saggy Pants law was geared toward blacks and racist. Does it seem this way towards anyone else? Why? I do my hating in my home. I don't need to go to church to do it.

Everything is racist for those that want to see it that way. It is a card that can be played to gain position, and frankly I'm tired of seeing that card played to cover poor personal decisions made that led to bad consequences.

I liked the news story the other day about towing vehicles that were pulled over and not insured. Of course, the black people had to say "This is a bill targeted at people of color with low income."
I mean, we all know there are NOOOOOOOO poor white people in America, right?

No bitch, this is targetted at people who are driving a car that has no insurance, as is required by law.

Your ignorance knows no bounds, I feel sorry for you in a way. You truly have no idea how the world works just as I think 66Duece has a plethora of ignorance attached to his statement you seem to easily exceed his level of ignorance with yours. At least his is in the form of a question where as yours is in the form of an assumption

Wow, lots of substance there. You have not one ounce of retort in this post. If all I had to do, to answer a post, is say "you're an idiot, etc." then my posts would be just as hollow as yours.

You're right, questions work better.

Boy, doesn't it seem like the post that started this thread is coming from someone who has an axe to grind with anyone who's black? It might even be racially tinged, eh?

The point is he was ignorant to think that "all" black churches spew hate; you are an ass for assuming those KKK members you tossed up in that photo are in a church. What life experiences do you have to know how blacks think? I have plenty, I grew up in Roanoke, Virginia the schools I attended were 75% plus black, I was the only white guy on my Junior High football team, my Grandfather on my step dads side was a member of the KKK, no they did not meet in a church. I have lots of reasons to both dislike and respect blacks, I choose the latter. Do you know any clan members, where does all this knowledge you possess come from? You make and assumption I think the first three letters sum it up. People on this board don't dislike you because you take a different view they dislike you because you toss stupid ideas or assumptions out as if they are fact but they are simply more of your ignorant rhetoric that has no basis for logic and little reasoning other than to show you are as full of hate equally as those you oppose and accuse.

(Pssst. I didn't really think the KKK guys were in a church. But in general, the KKK is a "Christian" organization. That's why they site God so much)

The KKK and Jesus Christ/Christinanity have nothing in common.

Quote:
In speaking to the Athenians, Paul stated that God "has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined their preappointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings" (Acts 17:26). We are all descendants of Adam. While we are divided between different nations and languages, we are all the same -- human beings created by the hand of God.

I'm pretty sure there wasn't much politics going on amongst the KKK. in 1866, they were really just a terrorist group formed by the Confederates. If they WERE Democrats, I'm pretty sure a Democrat was quite different in 1866.

Plus, they tend to support Republicans.

Obama is a KKK and Black Panther member.

True story.

Bush created them both back in the 1800s as he was conjuring up Katrina.

They may consider themselves Christian, just like those Westborough fools, but like MikeB said, they have nothing to do with each other and they DO NOT represent the majority.

This post is pretty damn ignorant.
No, it does not seem that way to me. The Black church has been and continues to be great part of America.

He is speaking from experience. If I had know the lady he was talking about , I would think the same thing.

What do you think about his co worker who goes to church and complains about racism? Is that the point of church?

I've never been to a black church but growing up on the east side of San Antonio , I can say this . Blacks are just as prejudice as whites or any other race . Hell even most mexicans talk shit about blacks and whites with little regard to how anyone around feels about it . I sometimes eat at a local mexican cafe that is primarily visited by black people . They will sit in large groups talking crap about this or that or even talk loudly to each other from table to table with very little regard to any other people in the room . Sometimes the conversation is anti white and some times its not . I personally do not take offense to it as they are entitled to their opinion just as I am . What I do think is fucked up is they will be well into an anti white conversation and there in the corner of the booth is some skanked ass white girl with her half breed kid or in most cases kids and they aren't saying a damn thing .

Very little has changed since the 50's and 60's other than the white person is now on the firing wall if they say anything about another race . Other races can and do get away with it all the time . Whether this goes on in black churches , who knows but I would not rule it out .

Racism is abundant everywhere. For every Westboro there is a racist black church. But it doesn't mean every black church is racist.

Churches are made up of people... sometimes the people running the Church have God's agenda and sometimes it is their agenda.

I've always felt welcome at black churches but then again I was there because I was part of a mission to rebuild something at the Church or the community in which the church was located.

The top of their site makes the claim.
Mat 7:16-23 (NIV) [Jesus:] "By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? Likewise every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them. Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?' Then I will tell them plainly, 'I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!'"

2Tim 2:19-21 (NIV) ..."Everyone who confesses the name of the Lord must turn away from wickedness." In a large house there are articles not only of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay; some are for noble purposes and some for ignoble. If a man cleanses himself from the latter, he will be an instrument for noble purposes, made holy, useful to the Master and prepared to do any good work.

Clearly, claiming to be a Christian and actually being one can be two different things. Also, i'd say that those KKK members are in for a rude awakening on judgement day.

You might want to check that one again buddy.
You have the entire interweb at your fingers, and there are two things you can't seem to figure out:

Obama's plan.
And the KKK you seem to know so much about.

When a church, any church, preaches hate it ceases to be a house of God. It instead becomes a den of twisted and bitter cowards, like Wright and Obama, who try to use God to mask their true selves.

Woah. You're gonna call ME the racist?? I'm not the one who hates Obama, because he's black.

And when you say someone's "in church" it doesn't always mean phyisically IN a church building. Where I grew up going to church, if you were "not in church", it meant that you didn't attend church.

can people be voted off the board?

I know this is a privately owned board but the owner is very responsive to user input.
Would anyone else be interested in this?

Plus, they tend to support Republicans.
research this and get back to me
here is my research,

The Republican party was formed out of the fight against slavery in 1864 spawn by the Kansas-Nebraska act of 1864.

Democrats voted against each of these.
Emancipation Proclamation 1866 Civil Rights Bill
Civil Rights Act 1866
Reconstruction Act of 1867
Freedman Bureau Extension Act of 1866
Enforcement Act of 1870
Force Act of 1871
Ku Klux Klan Act of 1871
Civil Rights Act of 1875
Civil Rights Act of 1957
Civil Rights Act of 1960

Thirteenth Amendment prohibiting slavery
Fourteenth Amendment guaranteeing equal protection
Fifteenth Amendment guaranteeing voting rights.
Anti-lynching legislation
1964 Civil Rights Act
1965 Voting Rights Act

Democrats enacted
school segregation
poll taxes
literacy tests to keep nonwhites from voting
internment of Japanese-American citizens (or Italians or Germans) during World War II
Chinese exclusion acts and licensing requirements that discriminated against non-white businesses and tradesmen.
From the Signing of the Constitution in 1787 to the Civil Rights movement of 1960's, Congressional records show the Democrat Party passed no laws to help Blacks.
Democratic Party formed many terrorist organizations like the Ku Klux Klan to murder and intimidate African Americans voters
it was three white Republicans that opposed the Democrat's racist practices who started the NAACP.

So, because you disagree with someone, you think they should be ousted?

Are you directly involved with the Bush administration?

crybaby.

Do you have a Mustang? This is basically a car forum with a place to take political talk. If all you use this board for is your dribble and it's offensive to many here, I say vote you off. There are plenty of places like MIRC, undernet, newsgarden for your views. I get tired of your nonsense.

I don't care what black, white, or yellow people do in private, but I will surely critique their actions if they attended meetings/services of hate and ever ask for my vote for President.

I have to agree with a quote from former Treasury Secretary William E. Simon: "Bad politicians are sent to Washington by good people who don't vote."

Offensive??

Dude, you're worse than PETA. Sissy. Seriously. You're justifying kicking me off the board, using the facade of "you don't have a mustang", because you're OFFENDED by something I say?? I rarely even curse. How about we kick everyone who curses off. Because you're so easily offended. I wouldn't want your feelings hurt. Last thing we need is you crying in your Mustang.

I know you have no life, you can't sing and you wouldn't make a pimple on a roadie's ass, so that leaves DFWstangs as your only entertainment. You post here just waiting for attention. You post inflaming stuff hoping to get lots of replys so you can inflate your low selfesteem ego with all the attention you garner.
which one is you?
