Obama needs to get spiritual advisors out

of his campaign! lol

Quote:
A Chicago pastor and spiritual adviser of Barack Obama mocked Hillary Rodham Clinton from the pulpit of the Illinois senator's church - saying her famous tearing-up moment was fueled by self-pitying feelings of "I'm white! I'm entitled! There's a black man stealing my show."

You can't fix stupid, but you can vote it out.

Anyone who's gonna pay attention to this stuff already knows all there is to know: The man is a radical racist and surrounds himself with the same.

Anyone who doesn't know or refuses to acknowledge it by now is intentionally ignoring the issue and is in serious denial.

How many folks think these guys are just playing it up? They're just bad "entertainer's". A white priest talking like a black minister? I grew up in the Catholic church (for many years), and I NEVER saw a priest that animated. I'm beginning to think that these guys a re just attention whore's who have their own agenda's. I'm NOT an Obama fan at all, and I feel like those folks are out to get him, or at least promote their own agenda's at his expense.

its his fault for attending a racist church for the last 20 years. Now that his church is hurting his campaign, he is trying to disown 20 years of his past in 1 campaign. Not going to happen!

Catholic churches are far different from most protestant churches, especially a Black Methodist/Baptist/Church of Christ church. They're, uh, interesting to say the least. I certainly enjoyed the hell out of the ones I've been to

I certainly agree, but it's funny how they seem to want to hurt him, more than help him. If he doesn't get the presidency (or nomination, for that matter), does it not give them more ammo to scream "racism"?

Who are you kidding? They will ALWAYS find more ammo to scream "racism." Always and forever until the end of history.

Hell, if the German troops at Waterloo had the kind of ammunition that black extremists can produce out of thin air, they wouldn't have been overrun by Napoleon.

What I meant was no matter why he doesn't get elected, they can proclaim it was "racist America". If he DOES win the presidency, it would be a little more difficult for his supporters to keep racism at the forefront, since obviously, we would have a black president.

There won't be enough Republicans left in the house or senate to vote anything down. A Dem for a prez will be an express lane for whatever agenda they have.

Comments like this are why Bush won the nomination to begin with. I hope he can keep them to a minimum when faced by racist hatemongers during this campaign.

Racism is alive and well in the U.S. . Blacks or Mexicans can cry all they want about Whites being racist but the simple truth is all races are prejudice toward another race . Some are more and others are less .

If Obama gets elected , it will be the black vote (or the stupid asses that want him there because they are going to be part of some movement) that gets him there .

If Hillary gets elected , it will be the women vote (or "" "" "" "" "" "") that gets her there .

McCain , while probably not the best choice for president , is the best choice of the three running . Yes he's white . Yes he's upper class . Yes he's probably out of touch with the common man or woman . He's also served his country . He was a POW and knows how to survive . Most important of all , I think his character will be less likely to sway every time the wind changes direction . The biggest down fall to him is his age . Sadly , I wish he would have been elected instead of Bush . Maybe things would be different and maybe not . One thing is for sure , I don't think he could have done a worse job than Bush has done .

How about "I hate my captors and torturers, I'll hate them forever"? Seeing as how the term is used as a racial slur towards anyone from SE Asia, not just the NVA regulars that tortured him it's no different than using any other racial slur.

Fact is only a handful of Vietnamese soldiers ever tortured McCain or his fellow POWs. Throwing out blanket slurs and declaring your hatred for an entire region isn't something I want my president doing.

The Japanese were far worse than the Vietnamese in regard to POW treatment. They performed dissections on living American soldiers regularly, you can't do much worse to a person than cutting out their liver to just to see what'll happen. Imagine where we'd be if we elected a president back in the 50s with the same attitude towards Japan.

A president needs good judgement

I think it tells a lot about Obama that he couldn't see his churches controversy for 20 years till it was hurting his electability. What else dosen't he see till he's hit with it.

It just goes to show how much of a typical politician he is. He would sell his soul to get elected, just like most of the others.

He has terrible judgment, that is the major concern about him IMO.

The cute part is, that no one acknowledged the part of the article that says the guy was a "visiting Catholic priest". Where in the world did any of you get that he was Obama's "spiritual advisor"?

Oh yeah... it helps your cause to get McBush elected. Duh.

He used that church when he got to Chicago, to get some political clout in the black community, because he was a f*cking lightweight. Now that he's used it as a stepping stone, just throw it away... Uh, uh.

Show me where Barack Obama calls him his "spiritual advisor". In 2004, the guy said he gave Obama "spiritual counsil". Do you SERIOUSLY think that by him saying "hey, man, you should pray more often" or something that small that can be called spiritual counsil, has some bearing on Obama, now that the guy said something bad about Hillary, that all of you have been saying since day one? Not sure how the two are really connected... unless you have motive, and WANT them to be.

Nope. It's just putting him in alliance with the worst president since that guy before George Washington.

Ah... so NOW you're going to do the old "victim" trick, again.

First off... You'll notice that the ONLY time I say something about you & the kiddos, is when YOU put that stupid little by-line in all your posts, answering me. Therefore, as in the beginning, YOU, 90, started this. If you can't take the retort, then perhaps you should stop resorting to your bad argument tactics.

I have to agree with a quote from former Treasury Secretary William E. Simon: "Bad politicians are sent to Washington by good people who don't vote."

EDIT: Silly me, I missed the link in the first post from Eric. The NY POST calls the priest a spiritual advisor for Obama. LOL

So if Obama said the priest help him "set his moral compass" would that make him a spritual advisor? I would think a person/advisor/priest/minister who help a major political candidate set his/her moral compass would be a pretty influential perosn, kind of like an advisor, right? If not, what would you call it? What if a group supporting Obama called the priest a "spiritual advisor"? If your standard is audio of Obama saying it, I don't have that. I have all the evidence up to that point, but not that. You silly liberals will believe any rumor about a Republican but ignore facts and overwhelming evidence about your canidate, huh sick fuck? It sure helps you hypocritical hate-filled angry liberals sleep at night, unless you have the dreams about child molestation wake you up with a wet dream.

Not sure how the two are really connected... unless you have motive, and WANT them to be..
LOL, just answer the moral compass question and it will be a good response for this point also sick fuck.

So once again sick fuck, if I accuse you of being a dope smoking young band member who posts like he is on dope (fact about what I and many others actually did) you can go straight to false accusations of child molestation? I say you can't go that far without being a sick fuck. Say you went too far and apologize for going there or admit you were wrong and it is over. I say you just plain don't get it how wrong you were because you are a sick fucking individual.

BTW, I do also see the irony of asking you about a moral compass advisor for Obama while it is apparent you have no moral compass. Hell, I am actually pleased Obama claims to have one.

Do you still have a the dreams about child molestation sick fuck? Of course you do, becuase you are a sick fuck!
