Bear Stearns Sold!!!!!!!

JPMORGAN CHASE (MY COMPANY)



just bought BEAR STEARNS for $2 a share! no thats not a typo two dollars per share. THE BEST THING IS.......BERNANKE GAVE JPMORGAN A 30 BILLION DOLLAR GET OUT OF DEBT FREE CARD! YARD SALE! bear stearns can lose up to 30 billion and jpmorgan isnt liable for a penny of it! the fed is footing the bill!!!

96% percent discount AND $30 billion we dont have to worry about, im gonna send jaime dymon (CEO) an email tomorrow and ask him to tag along when i go buy a car!!!


oh yea the asian markets are down an average of 3.5% or so, so dont expect any big rally tomorrow

Technically a buy out, in reality Bear Stearns was bankrupt. 5th biggest investment bank is no more. JPM bought it up to save some face for the creditors, that probably stood to lose $billions.

My 401K is now a 400K (was 301K)

yeah. this is real bullshit. just another transfer of my money to someone who doesn't need it. i understand the logic behind it, but i think the logic just obscures the fact that the system is horribly skewed toward the rich and powerful.

I dont see JP or BAC needing a bailout...they have stricter mortgages then citi/countrywide..i should know im with citi lmao..(mine is fixed though)

Unfortunately it was not me. I was busy prepping for St Patrick's Day in So Cal. It was my brother so maybe he'll share. haha. He stayed back at the beach house and was on the phone to some friends and they were buying so he decided to take some as well.
