Emergency Emergency!!!!

March 16 (Bloomberg) -- The Federal Reserve, in an emergency weekend decision, cut the rate on direct loans to commercial banks and opened up borrowing at the rate to primary dealers in government securities.
On a Sunday night!

2nd suprise emergency cut in three months. Gold rockets over night as all your $$$ turn in to worthless paper. Foreign markets take the move as signs for more terror to come.

Australia -2.25%
Japan -3.16%
Korea - 2.42%

Kind of puts personal debt (that you have and can afford) in a new, more positive light, huh?

I just pulled a 9% raise for the year. I think I can deal with the devaluing of my debt just fine

On another good front, it is now extremely tempting for employers to use telecommuting as a non-pay benefit. If Osha liability were clarifed it would be even better.

Damn, I was gonna post a thread about the Asian markets tanking today. Go check out some 24hr financial news on TV, it's a hell of a show.

Give me a dollar.

It may end up even worse for those markets who try and distance themselves from the dollar. The Euro is a hot commodity right now. So if you have Euros, and don't want to convert them, what exactly can you buy with them for the long term?

It's going to be an interesting day, to say the least! That whole JP Morgan buying BSC @ $2 a share is going to have an investor flight from stocks.
