If Conservatives have any backbone...

...they'll vote for this guy:

Alan Keyes

He's running. You can vote for him, tomorrow in the primaries. And if he doesn't make it, he'll probably run as a 3rd party. But he stands for everything Conservatives stand for. And Conservatives are all about standing for what they believe.

I'm pretty socially liberal, but Keyes just has his head on straight.

What is this fascination the young dope smoking GEN-Xers have with Keyes and RP?

He seems pretty kooky and he would have zero chance of getting any of his policies passed IMO.

I think both are intelligent, especially Keyes.

So... you're not going to vote for Keyes?

I thought a lot of conservatives ignore the "parties" and vote for the person.

I know McCain's stances on things. And I know how conservatives feel about him and his stances. If a true conservative votes for McCain, aren't they just towing the party line? "whatever the party says... must obey..."

I am voting more against the liberal than I am for McCain. It is why he won't get my vote in the primary, but will in the general election. I have decided to send a small signal to him that he doesn't have huge support at this point, and it is dependent upon him following through on his promise to nominate conservative judges who won't legislate from the bench, he will be strong against terrorists, and all the other things I know the Dems candidate will not do.

How is that sick fuck?

BTW, your "thought" about what conservatives will or will not do is so wrong, it is almost like you frequent liberal hate sites.

dammit. you corrected "wrong" before I could point out "worng". You're catching on.

It kinda sounds like you're doing the same kind of voting that the Dems were made fun of, when they wanted "anybody but Bush". And Democrats were being slammed for saying things like "I'm not really voting for Kerry, I'm voting against Bush".

And it's dependent on his promises? Seriously?

He said "no new taxes". We've heard that one before.

Why are Republicans taking McCain at his word? McCain says it = truth, no questions asked. A Democrat says it = "it's a lie. And they're probably a terrorist".

I already said that I would put "Anyone but Hillary" on a bumper sticker becuase you guys opened the door for that crap and then you liberal idiots went and decided not to nominate her.

BTW sick fuck, I caught on before you were born. Only a sick fuck enjoys a typo like it is some major accomplishment. LOL

You can't read can you sick fuck? I think I have seen more conservatives in this forum question McCain and his word than I have seen them question Obama. We hold him to a higher standard than we do a liberal idiot and we at least hope McCain is not flat out lying like the others are.

I say Keyes has more Conservatives' interests at heart. And to not put him on the ballot, you're doing your movement a great disservice.

I like Allan Keyes. I have voted for him before. However the goal here is to keep the lesser of two evils out of office and the greater one is Obama.

I've already voted and I voted for Hillary. I'm convinced Obama will whip McCain's ass.

I disagree, I dont think Obama can make it through the last months of the Election with charisma alone. He has no substance and as time goes on I notice more and more people realizing it...I think democrats backed themselves into a corner with their media parade but I guess Oct-Nov will be the only way to tell.

that is true, mcCain is at least gonna look you the eyes when hes assraping us.

and the reason why we dont question obama about his;

1. relationships with embezzler and money launderers

2.belonging to a black separatist church that actually has a mandate that he has to live by stating he must first and foremost advance the black culture for the old country.

3. that his mother is an atheist and his father and brother are muslims, how did he come to be such a devout "christian"

4. why did he find it SO difficult to take a stance for or setting a certain limit on how close strip clubs and porn shops can be to schools
(seriously how the fuck do you vote PRESENT on that one?)

5. why he denounces farrikhans edorsement, yet has such close ties to him and others behind closed doors.

6. letting him give a 2 minute bullshit answer that doesnt even come close to taking a stance to any question. for an example pull up any debate, or reference point #4

Kinda like Kerry, before the end of the 2004 election. His lack of substance was his demise (thank GOD).

Yeah I think of Kerry vs Bush almost exactly...only difference is Obama is more charismatic compared to Kerry but McCain is also a better speaker then Bush so the playing field is still level IMO.

Keys supports reparations for slavery? Where did you see that?

When he ran against Barack he proposed a tax credit for decendents of slaves, perhaps for two generations. Granted it was in an argument with a staunch supporter of them but it opened the door to free money for people that in my mind don't deserve any kind of handout.

If Hillary survives today, you watch how the Clinton hate machine goes into overdrive against Obama. McCain will not have to go after Obama, which iIdoubt he will do either way.

I hope the Republicans PAC's take up where Hillary leaves off.

Look, Diddle, I posted one thing from Daily Kos (and I GOOGLED that.). I did it, to prove a point, that you dig up false information from anywhere you can get it.

So, keep making accusations based on little bits you get from my posts.

Chris Hanson will find you.

Ploy? Keye's actually stands for the things you claim to believe in.

I mean... you COULD vote for the guy you don't want in office. If you're into "as long as it's not the other guy!" politics. I just thought you had a backbone.

eh, the only problem is the blind following that Obama has...Kerry didn't have the following that Obama has mesmerized to believe in his cause.

I really am scared of Obama. I've already conceded that he'll probably wind up in office...I'm just scared of what he's going to do in office.

Someone said something the other day to the effect of "We can only hope that the silent majority remains in power, and that those that are vocal are a minority", and that's more true than ever now.

Generalizations are clearly your strong point. Shit, all you do is generalize. It's a simple means of classifying everything in your life to be concise enough for you to understand. Simple, simple, simple way of living though. ...

It is time we acknowledged a basic feature of human discourse: when considering the truth of a proposition, one is either engaged in an honest appraisal of the evidence and logical arguments, or one is not. Religion is the one area of our lives where people imagine that some other standard of intellectual integrity applies.

I wouldn't know how simple life is in taco land, I live in the real world. No tin foil hats, no bombs planted by the government to conveniently coincide with the terrorists flying the planes into the towers, you know, that real world.
