Voting for the opposition

I was emailing my Mom back and forth and she told me she is thinking of doing this.

Quote:
Many Republicans are strategizing voting on the Democratic ticket in the primary, to eliminate the Democratic candidate that will be toughest to beat in the actual election. So, I'm considering voting for Hillary in the primary, just to get rid of Obama. The tax dollars he's gonna need for all this "Free" stuff for the poor downtrodden (who's philosophy is: "Why work hard and achieve when the gov't. should take care of me") is frightening. Hillary has the same ideas, but nobody can stand her, so she'll never be elected.
Anybody else doing this?

I considered it but couldn't bring myself to be seen in public with a big "D" on my paperwork voting for either Hillary or Barack, so I stayed with McCain.

McCain will have it easier in the debates with Obama because he lacks substance behind his ideas... just sayin'.

On another note, Obama will be in Duncanville High School tonight. Tomorrow, McCain will be here, at T.I. tomorrow. I already got the OK to go listen to him.

Honestly I think its too late for any of these tactics to even work. I think the pants suits ship has sailed and were stuck with McCain vs Obama...Just have to hope that more people will pay attention to the Debates to gain insightful information on their candidate before voting based off of a Rally and some half assed exaggerated ads

Though "enough is enough" and "change we can believe in" are strong messages

Yes, in Presidential terms we are screwed. We'll just have to hope the House is still the big stumbling block.

Hey I dont like McCain either. I'm not hip on any current candidate. I'm almost inclined to vote for Hilary straight up.

LOL! Congress better get stirred the fuck up in November if we are to even have a chance at living half decent lives at the end of the term of whoever wins this year's clusterfuck.

Unfortunately, I don't see that happening. People voting Barack will probably also dial right down the "D" column as well.

I was talking with a guy today about this and his thoughts were that her ideas are incredibly ludicrous, and thus the rest of the government would have all of their attention focused on her and she (hopefully) wouldn't be able to actually accomplish much.

Ron Paul. It don't matter what party he's with. Parties are retarded.
I voted for him yesterday. I doubt I'll be voting again in this free fall.
