Will Texas ever follow in Arizona's Footsteps?

So Arizona voted that English is the Official language.

It was pissing me off seeing all the spanish on the Ballot I used to vote.
The people who can't read English don't vote anyway.

AZ is a badass place to live with badass people among you. I hear Lake Havasu is a great place to get away... time to start house/job shopping!

they are also the only state to allow gay marriage to pass on the ballot during this election cycle, barely though. I was thinking it would go the other way.

Actually they just voted NOT to make a new law.

They were also the ones who voted against MLK day being a paid state holiday because the state already got plenty of paid holidays. That's when the fucktard NFL got involved. Since then I applaud anytime an NFL member gets eaten by opit bulls or anything.

Interesting, because that's what I heard in my 9am political science class today. I just remember it being said that 16 states had the gay marriage proposal on the the ballot and all voted the sameway except Arizona.

Well, I know where I'm moving when the Messicans take over.

An old friend of mine just moved from Scottsdale (to Hawaii, she's moving up) used to party at Lake Havasu and showed me pics . . . Party Cove has nothing on the debautchery that goes on there. I've also heard the porn industry is kinda moving into that area.

Havasu is where all the West Coast college people go for Spring Break.

I think it is sad that there was even a vote about what the language should be. It should be English hands down and if you don't speak it, learn. This is America.

Back to AZ, I now live near Tucson. AZ is pretty nice as Denny stated. I still like Texas better but that is what I am used to.

We're working on it, but there just aren't as many people willing to "do it" (it being porn but I figured the pun would be there anyways) as there are in LA so it's still big there. Florida is getting pretty active too.

LA is the epicenter of porn though.

i bought a replacement flapper for my toilet at my local hardware store and the instruction sheet that was in the package was 100% spanish with no english.

i thought that was kind of interesting......i guess they think us gringo's don't replace toilet flappers?

not that you need instructions to replace a toilet flapper, but i just thought in principle it was wrong.

We should adopt the same immigration laws as Mexico. Problem solved.

Havasu is a blast. I went there for Spring Break 2003. It was breathtaking in about 319 different ways.

The porn industry is taking over Phoenix as a whole. I can name off at least a half dozen porn stars that live in just Scottsdale...Jenna Jameson and Raven Riley included.

FTV, Lightspeed, Dr_Gspot.com, and soon a couple more will be popping up in Phoenix. Scottsdale is a great place to do that because of all the nice houses and unassuming people.
