From 10 billion to taxes

The other thread went to a tax discussion so I figured what the heck I'll start a tax thread. I am pissed that I pay out in tax as much as I do. I pay tax for my pay, my gas, some of my groceries, sunglasses, clothing, etc. I am going to take the next month from the 15th of November to the 15th of December and figure out just how much of my hard earned money goes to taxes. I mean even if I buy a dam donut.

In my opinion if 10% is good enough for god then 10% is good enough for state and country together!

Do the people that don't believe in god, pay more in taxes?

Well you can add up your total gross salary up until May, and that is approx. the amout you pay in taxes to the govt. a year. Including income tax, FICA, SS, medicare, and all purchases in your city, and State taxes.
