A plan to bring peace to the US

I got this in an email today, I have seen it before but I just felt it was good to share.

The Plan!

You gotta love Robin Williams......
Even if he is nuts! Leave it to Robin
Williams to come up with the perfect
plan. What we need now is for our
UN Ambassador to stand up and
repeat this message.

Robin Williams' plan...(Hard to
argue with this logic!)

"I see a lot of people yelling for peace
but I have not heard of a plan for
peace. So, here's one plan."

1) "The US will apologize to the world for our "interference" in their
affairs, past & present. You know, Hitler, Mussolini, Stalin, Tojo,
Noriega, Milosevic, Hussein, and the rest of those 'good ole boys', we
will never "interfere" again.

2) We will withdraw our troops from all over the world, starting with
Germany, South Korea, the Middle East, and the Philippines. They don't
want us there. We would station troops at our borders. No one allowed
sneaking through holes in the fence.

3) All illegal aliens have 90 days to get their affairs together and
leave. We'll give them a free trip home. After 90 days, the remainder
will be gathered up and deported immediately, regardless of whom or where
they are. They're illegal!!! France will welcome them.

4) All future visitors will be thoroughly checked and limited to 90 days
unless given a special permit. No one from a terrorist nation will be
allowed in. If you don't like it there, change it yourself and don't hide
here. Asylum would never be available to anyone. We don't need any more
cab drivers or 7-11 cashiers.

5) No foreign "students" over age 21. The older ones are the bombers.
If they don't attend classes, they get a "D" and it's back home baby.

6) The US will make a strong effort to become self-sufficient energy
wise. This will include developing nonpolluting sources of energy but
will require a temporary drilling of oil in the Alaskan wilderness. The
caribou will have to cope for a while.

7) Offer Saudi Arabia and other oil producing countries $10 a barrel for
their oil. If they don't like it, we go some place else. They can go
somewhere else to sell their production. (About a week of the wells
filling up the storage sites would be enough.)

8) If there is a famine or other natural catastrophe in the world, we
will not "interfere." They can pray to Allah or whomever, for seeds,
rain, cement, or whatever they need. Besides most of what we give them
are stolen or given to the army. The people who need it most get very
little, if anything.

9) Ship the UN Headquarters to an isolated island some place. We don't
need the spies and fair weather friends here. Besides, the building
would make a good homeless shelter or lockup for illegal aliens.

10) All Americans must go to charm and beauty school. That way, no one
can call us "Ugly Americans" any longer. The Language we speak is
ENGLISH...learn it...or LEAVE...Now, isn't that a winner of a plan

"The Statue of Liberty is no longer saying 'Give me your tired, your
poor, your huddled masses.' She's got a baseball bat and she's yelling,
'you want a piece of me' "

If you agree with the above forward
it to friends...If not, and I would be amazed, DELETE it!!

Sounds good to me, and how did isolationism give us WWI? I thought it was the germans again. I think it would be a bit much of the statue of liberty, maybe just remove her slogan off the side.

Robin Williams' Peace Plan

Claim: Comedian Robin Williams came up with a plan for how the U.S. should handle foreign affairs.

Status: False.

Example: [Collected via e-mail, 2003]

A GREAT PLAN

Leave it to Robin Williams to come up with the perfect plan . . . what we need now is for our UN Ambassador to stand up and repeat this message.

Robin Williams' plan...(Hard to argue with this logic!)

I see a lot of people yelling for peace but I have not heard of one plan for peace. "Books, not Bombs" won't work. The head mullahs won't let anyone read them. If they do, they poke their eyes out.

Here's the plan:

1) The US will apologize to the world for our "interference" in their affairs, past &present. You know, Hitler, Mussolini and the rest of them 'good old boys'. We will never "interfere" again.

2) We will withdraw our troops from all over the world, starting with Germany, South Korea and the Philippines. They don't want us there. We would station troops at our borders. No more sneaking through holes in the fence.

3) All illegal aliens have 90 days to get their affairs together and leave. We'll give them a free trip home. After 90 days the remainder will be gathered up and deported immediately, regardless of who or where they are. France would welcome them.

4) All future visitors will be thoroughly checked and limited to 90 days unless given a special permit. No one from a terrorist nation would be allowed in. If you don't like it there, change it yourself, don't hide here. Asylum would not ever be available to anyone. We don't need any more cab drivers.

5) No "students" over age 21. The older ones are the bombers. If they don't attend classes, they get a "D" and it's back home baby.

6) The US will make a strong effort to become self sufficient energy wise. This will include developing non-polluting sources of energy but will require a temporary drilling of oil in the Alaskan wilderness. The caribou will have to cope for a while.

7) Offer Saudi Arabia and other oil producing countries $10 a barrel for their oil. If they don't like it, we go someplace else.

8) If there is a famine or other natural catastrophe in the world, we will not "interfere". They can pray to Allah or whomever, for seeds, rain, cement or whatever they need. Besides most of what we give them is stolen or given to the army. The people who need it most get very little, if any anyway.

9) Ship the UN Headquarters to an island some place. We don't need the spies and fair weather friends here. Besides, it would make a good homeless shelter or lockup for illegal aliens.

10) All Americans must go to charm and beauty school. That way, no one can call us "Ugly Americans" any longer.

Now, ain't that a winner of a plan ??

Variations: Early versions of this list included an eleventh entry: 11) And lastly bring back the manufacturing from our country, curtail the cheap imports from all over the world and put the middle class back to work in our country.
Origins: We don't know who is responsible for the piece quoted above, but it definitely wasn't acto/comedian Robin Williams (of Mork & Mindy television fame). This item's debut appears to have been a 20 March 2003 posting to the USENET newsgroup alt.motorcycles.harley, and from there it was rapidly disseminated via e-mail and blogs, credited to either "author unknown" or no one at all. The Robin Williams attribution wasn't tacked on until several weeks later, apparently because along the way the eleventh entry was dropped and a genuine Robin Williams quote appended in its place: "The Statue of Liberty is no longer saying 'Give me your poor, your tired, your huddled masses.' She's got a baseball bat and she's yelling, 'You want a piece of me?'" — Robin Williams.
The 'Robin Williams' attribution for the final item was interpreted as applying to the list as a whole, so now the entire piece circulates as 'the Robin Williams plan.'

I am shocked a liberal would defend a position even though it should have been obvious it was stupid to do so!

What is a dental dam?

A dental dam is basically a small sheet of latex which acts as a barrier between the vagina or anus and the mouth. Dental dams get their name because they are used during dental surgery such as root canals. Due to the possible infectious secretions from both the vagina and anus, the dental dam is becoming a more popular safer sex tool. With the introduction of different colors, shapes and sizes, manufacturers are adding some exciting changes to what once was sterile translucent-white latex.

No saying that I was not wrong is like saying you are not a lazy fat ass. I got it wrong you provided proof that someone else essentially wrote this. I simply pointed out that the general concensus is that Williams wrote it, so lots of people are incorrect in this thinking and I happened to have been one them today.

Why, are you here to brag about the cross burning you attended last nite?
You story has become utterly weak and tiresome.
Quit being such a fuckstick, or join ProCrap in time out.

It is called spell check idiot sometimes I use it and I love how you just jump in like Rainman and repeat what others say. I love guns and am a member of the NRA, approve of the War on terror, dislike the War in Iraq, always support the troops, and believe dropping bombs on those who deserve it is a good thing. So if you ever meet me you'll see I am centered in politics and I don't take shit off anyone this includes you. I do like to argue with those that think Bush is the best, like Hookem who is swinging on GWs nuts. Oh yeah if you knew anything about what I teach you'd know I teach Texas History and not elementary so I don't deal with spelling tests. I also have the ability to spell I just tend to type faster than I should which leads to so many mistakes . You have a great day now.

As soon as you fags are done bashing each other with remarks that would meake my 10 year old's eyes roll, let's get back to correcting some errors on this thread during the discussion of the original topic.

Isolationism brought the US into BOTH World Wars. Most of the world depends on us as a crutch so much that any decleration of isolationism we make would end the world as we know it almost immediately. I know that, for the most part, this "plan" was a joke, but there are too many people out there who think this would be the answer.

Who said you don't take shit off anyone? Why would I care? I would glady tell you in person anything I write here. I don't have to throw bombs anonymously on the internet to make myself feel big. I am used to dealing with people up close and personal. I am a people person.

I believe I know a little but seeing that my cousin is the right hand man for Peterson(R) out of Penn. I am aware that 99% of the people on this site know jack shit about politics compared to some of the people I know and talk to that are very well versed in politics. I know history, which is where I derive most of my political knowledge, as for current events I don't have time to keep up with every piece of legislation in our cities, state or country that is being debated. Hell show me someone that works a non-political job that has time to do that. So I think it is an honest assessment in that comparison to say most people on here know very little but I am sure quite a few think they know more than enough. I have been following HB 823 regarding carrying handguns in our cars because this means something to me, I like to have a gun for protection myself. I was very happy that the Legislature decided to allow all Texas residents who are Veterans 60% or more disabled or Active Duty military to get free super combo hunting/fishing packages as of Sept 2005. I went dove hunting last weekend for free not to bad if you ask me. So do I know a little about politics yes do I know a lot no and neither do you when compared to those who work on Capitol Hill like my cousin Jeff. So it all depends on who we are comparing ourselves to in the end.
