CINDY UNLEASHED: 'THE BIGGEST TERRORIST IN THE WORLD IS GEORGE W. BUSH'
Wed Aug 17 2005 21:51:56 ET

"We are not waging a war on terror in this country. We’re waging a war of terror. The biggest terrorist in the world is George W. Bush!"

So declared Cindy Sheehan earlier this year during a rally at San Francisco State University.

Sheehan, who is demanding a second meeting with Bush, stated: "We are waging a nuclear war in Iraq right now. That country is contaminated. It will be contaminated for practically eternity now."

Sheehan unleashed a foul-mouth tirade on April 27, 2005:

"They’re a bunch of fucking hypocrites! And we need to, we just need to rise up..." Sheehan said of the Bush administration.

"If George Bush believes his rhetoric and his bullshit, that this is a war for freedom and democracy, that he is spreading freedom and democracy, does he think every person he kills makes Iraq more free?"

"The whole world is damaged. Our humanity is damaged. If he thinks that it’s so important for Iraq to have a U.S.-imposed sense of freedom and democracy, then he needs to sign up his two little party-animal girls. They need to go to this war."

"We want our country back and, if we have to impeach everybody from George Bush down to the person who picks up dog shit in Washington, we will impeach all those people."

END

Isn't joining the military right now completely on a voluntary basis? Her son made the choice to join the military. I saw where she wanted George W. to appologize for killing her son. Completely rediculous, she just ruined her sons memory.

exactly right. My mother had 3 sons all in the military. 2 went to war with me missing it because of surgery.....she would not ruin our memories if we died. She would proudly say that we fought for other's freedom. That we fought to give people a taste of the American way that so many take for granted.

To join yes, to stay in NO! They are keeping people well past the end of their contract, and changing the maximum time in grade to keep others.

Bullshit. Turn off the liberal news. We have thousands volunteering to go over and no need for people to stay past their time.........a little known fact is that your time is 2 years past the time you actually get out......you can be called back for service.

Bullshit back to you.....I am not getting this from the liberal news, but from friends of mine that I was in the service with. The Military is putting them on stop loss, meaning that even if they are close to their original ETS date they cannot get out as their unit is on orders to go to Iraq, I believe it is within the next 6 months than they put the unit on stop loss.

I also had a friend who was due to Retire, but when the extended the TIS for his rank they denied his retirement.

Shouldn't that read "They" and not "we" since you didn't go?

Like I said, you may be due to get out in 06, but you are actually not free of service for 2 years after. I served 6 years active with 2 years inactive and got called at 3 months til I was completely out.

No, it shouldn't since "I" trained the men going over there. Are you trying to say that I did not sacrifice, that my family did not go without me, that even though I, as well as thousands of other soldiers that are in state, are not at war? LMAO.....get real.

Maybe if the Army gave more training then they wouldn't have a bad rep during war time.

That is the same thing I said before, with the exception that they are moving out TIS to allow them to keep people past the 8 years now.

Actually we have had quite a few people who are for the war sign up off of this board, so I do believe that some people are for it.

However it seems kind of funny to me how many "gung ho" people we have on this board who haven't, yet they take every opportunity available to call someone else a pussy or dumbass when they have a different viewpoint. I understand the 1st amendment that you can say what you want, but if you are really for the war, why don't you go put your life on the line.......or are you not really that much for it?

I agree that if you are for the war you should serve. I volunteered and unfortunately didn't get the chance to smoke a camel. But, I think there are more people out there for the war, than against it. Why should everyone else in the world not get a taste of freedom? Why should they not get a chance to change their way of life for the better?

This lady is a nut.

I believe her son enlisted in 1998, at least some time prior to 9/11. He then re-enlisted. He was in some motor pool unit, just repairing vehicles. While in Iraq, he volunteered to go on a rescue mission to get some of those in his unit. That's when h e got KIA.

On a recent teleconference, she said, loosely, "I have no animosity for those that killed my son. I blame George Bush."

WTH? No animosity for the terrorists that pulled the trigger???! Lady, you're wacked!

You know it's pretty amazing that when something bad happens, that this point of view doesn't blame the perpetrator. That's exactly what the terrorists want. Thank you Cindy Sheehan

I'm not sure that there are more people for the war than against it anymore, as always the polls go back and forth on this. So really we don't get a true perspective of who is or isn't for anything anymore.

Do you really think that they want a change in their lifestyle? Also, why should we be the ones to bring it to them, and burn up our tax dollars to do it?

What in their lifestyle is going to change? I mean besides the secret police beatings, killings, ethnic cleansing and possible imposition of harsh Islamic law at any moment. I'm sure they'd love for those things to continue but what else were you referring to? Your last question makes me wonder if you care more about the people over there or your wallet. I have news for you, the government is going to spend your money somehow, IMO they should at least use it to do something worthwhile.

Do you really think that they want a change in their lifestyle? Also, why should we be the ones to bring it to them, and burn up our tax dollars to do it?
So people in the USA are the only ones entitled to life, liberty and the persuit of happiness??

Did Saddam's regime grant them those rights?
Did the have the right to free speech?
Did the have the right to Free Press?
Did the have the Right to bear arms?
Freedom of religion?
Were they innocent until proven guilty?
Were they given a choice about whether they joined the military or not?
Did they have a right to a trial by jury?
Did they have the right to vote?
Did the "government" ban cruel and unusual punishment?
Did they have the right agaisnt unreasonable searches and seizures?

And are we so wrapped up in our conceit as a free nation to think that we have no reason to secure these rights for people that have had them forcefully revoked from them? Do we so naively think that freedom can be obtained without fighting or war when our own freedom was obtained by MULTIPLE wars? If we are evil because we fight for other peoples certain inalienable(sp?) Then every civilization that has ever come and gone from our world is evil. There has always been fighting and always will be.

K I am done, flame away

Now her mom is a patriot hero too. I'm sure she'll say, "George bush gave my mom a stroke".

I'm thinking a protest group could show up now with signs like:
Cindy killed her mom
Cindy ruined her marriage
Cindy destroyed her family
