Rehnquist to Retire

Drudge reports that Rehnquist is going to retire.

I think this gives Bush a better chance to appoint judges without a big fight. Instead of trying to move the court to the right with one far right candidate, he can use two mild conservative judges that can't individually be opposed.

Never underestimate the willingness of the liberals to fight, regardless of the circumstances.

If you like the IRS, DMV and the Post Office, you will love Obamacare!

“An armed society is a polite society. Manners are good when one may have to back up his acts with his life.”
Robert A. Heinlein

I have to agree with a quote from former Treasury Secretary William E. Simon: "Bad politicians are sent to Washington by good people who don't vote."

Let's try not to make the LIbs sound quite so noble...they have no choice but to fight. To a Liberal, the Whitehouse is beginning to look like the Alamo did to the Texans that defended it, with one exception...they have no real heroes, and not a foot to stand on! Let the battle begin!
