A good idea perhaps

i really love this forum, i consider myself a pretty open-minded person to everyone's view points. I also really admire everyone's passion towards politics regardless of what label you carry.
My idea is starting what could be considered a book club. Every month or two we start a new book and periodically discuss the topics mentioned by the author. We could alternate "liberal" and "conservative" authors to make sure we are getting equal views.

What does everyone think?

Don't take it personel DannyMac, this guy thinks if you drive over a land mine and get your hand blown off...then you outrank John Kerry.
It really pisses them off because Kerry came back from Nam with both arms and legs, and their hero drank pinacoladas and flirted with the girls stateside during Nam.
Turning this bunch into a book club? Not likely!

Talk is cheap because supply exceeds demand!

Knowledge is power. Arm yourself.

Those who don't read will end up working for those who do. So, pick up a book.

Depends on the books. Some are a waste of time and some are worth every minute. I like the political books although I haven't had that much time to read any this year except for Bill O'reillys book "Who's looking out for you?" I enjoyed reading that book. This summer I'm going to try to overload on politically related topics to educate myself more. I need to anyways since I'm a political science major.

Bill O'reilly is da bomb. I think he should run for president after Bush's second term.
