Boot up, right after a series of beeps is the time to gain entry to the BIOS. To access your system BIOS you'll have to press a special key, i.e. "F1", "Space Bar", "Delete". Check your documentation to see which key allows you to access the BIOS. In most cases, your BIOS will tell you how to access it during boot-up.
If you feel comfortable exploring your BIOS, enter the setup and look for a security or boot option.
Changes made to the BIOS can and will affect your computer. If you make a change that you are unsure of, Exit without saving.
After you have set the boot password, save changes and exit. Your computer will restart and ask you for the password every time you boot your computer.
REMEMBER YOUR PASSWORD! We can not help you if you forget it.
