MoonDog, what browser are you running at work? Sent the link to a friend, and he just got a crapped out page and nothing happened, until he tried it in IE. He uses Netscape generally.

I didn't look to much at the script, but it looks like it makes a call to windows media player, through ActiveX / VB Script controls, which I don't think Netscape supports.

I am running IE 5.5. My CD light will come on for a second then go out and do nothing. I know very little about VB or ActiveX but in the source it is refering to WMPlayer.ocx.7, I believe this is making a reference to Windows Media Player 7. At work I have an older version, Media Player 6.4. I am assuming that has something to do with it.

Lol.

My CD tray didn't open because I had my cable from my monitor in front of it (laptop on the right of the desk, cables come across the desk to the middle).

Just "click, click, click"....

I was like "Oh Shit, my hard drive is taking a shit".

That would be the reason. WMP 7 started with the activeX controls that 6.4 doesn't have. Anything WMP7 and up will be affected (and also using IE)
