for all of you with kazza lite

If you have Kazza Lite read this:

If you are experiencing problems with accessing anything w/ the address rd.yahoo.com.* it is becuase of Kazaa Lite. I had this problem for quite a while. When you click on links such as Yahoo Pool, Read More in the Newspaper articles and other links within yahoo you receive a Page not found. You need to go and edit your Windows host file (I think the file is lmhosts, open it with Notepad) and remove all rd.yahoo.com entries. There should be 5. That should fix your problem.

The hosts file is something you can use to bypass your dns servers. Why would they change rd.yahoo.com, thats whack.

click start > run > "notepad c:\windows\lmhosts" > remove rd.yahoo.com.* line > file save

What version of windows do you have? The location will be dependent upon it.

I use XP, but I'm gonna have to do it later, I'm too addicted to C&C right now.

if you're using xp or 2k then its:

\windows(or winnt)\system32\drivers\etc\hosts

then edit that file.. only remove the ones that you need to
