I know this might sound stupid but I have to ask. You do have a DVD drive with accompanying software right?

Now in english:

Hey, my computer won't play my dvd, and I don't know why. I have Windows XP, and I stick the dvd in, and nothing happens. If anyone has any suggestions, please help!

Sorry ... but I had to re-read over that a few times before I could understand what you were saying.

And yes, as MoonDog suggested ... do you have a DVD drive?

It took you 2 weeks to reboot your system? Are you running an 8086 with 64k of memory?
