I have a new Cisco Aironet AIR-AP1231G-A-K9 WAP that I want to sell

but I am not sure how I should be pricing it. I have it on CL for $80 because the cheapest one I found on ebay was $90 + $15 shipping.

Some dude who happens to work for a reseller replied and offered me $50 because that's what he normally pays. I told him that I would sell it to him for $50 if he could show me where someone who isn't a reseller can get these for $50 brand new in the box with the AC adapter.

Is $80 fair?

Buying dogs kills.

$80 seems like a deal.

Even if he could prove it, I'd hold out for the money you want. THere are a lot of dudes on CL that resell used gear. Buying you're AP for 50 and reselling for 80-100 seems like good margin to me.

the 1240G goes for about 400~500 bux. Looks like the are going for $150 used to $400 new on the 1231..If had the $90 bux to spend on it I'd buy it from you..that's a damn good price for a NIB access point. These Cisco AP's they kick ass...a bit to setup..but they kick ass.

This is a redundant statement to me.

Cisco = Kick Ass (or otherwise the best)

So you just said Kick ass AP's they kick ass.
