Favorite Android Aps?

I loved the thread Jose started a while back for favorite iPhone aps, and now that I've gone with Sprint and picked up the Evo I would like to know what you Android users are loving out there.

The weather channel, twitter, Fox news, BBC, NY Times and Reuter's widgets. Call confirm was the first one I downloaded though, I don't know how many accidental phone calls I made when scrolling through contacts before that.

Just to clarify my above post. "Lookout" will track your phone within 3 yards if you lose it, and it will also jack up the volume and send a 'police siren' sound to it that is extremely loud. It also backs up all your contacts and pics.

If you get a new phone, you simply log into the site and send all the info to your new phone...and it's free

Go to market then search and search for Craigslist.

its the one with the purple circle and Y in the middle.

They changed the name.

You setup what you want: IE chevy camaro and it checks CL every 5 minutes for keywords, price, images etc. its epic.

I've seen quite a few problems with phones when people are using ATK.

Most likely what happened is that they are tied to another execution.

For instance, I always turn off call filter, but if anyone calls me it is set to reactivate itself. A lot of times its just in the settings.

I guess this shows the infancy of the Android stuff compared to Mac stuff. Can't even really hit a full page.

So, when I first got my Droid I used ATK with autokill list and so forth. I then removed it and I personally can not detect difference in battery/other performance. I put it back on just in case for something else, but nothing is in the autokill list and it is otherwise not set to do anything.

I found another nifty app that I like.

-ascii Camera (Cheesy, but for us old school folks (BBS days and before) it is kind of entertaining.)

Anybody know if there is a way to send calls that are unknown or are not in your phone book straight to voicemail? I see an option to do that to contacts in my address book but that doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me. If not, is there some background application that I could run in the background that would accomplish this?

"Call Filter" is a free app and will do that. You can also add numbers to it that you dont want to answer.

is there an app or anyway to add an icon for the video camera. Seems stupid that you have to go into camera and then flip the switch to vid camera.
