What's the best phone for T-Mobile???

Thinking about buy a new phone.... What is the best phone that T-Mobile has to offer right now?

I've been considering the Nexus One, HTC HD2 or wait for the Samsung Vibrant to come out.

Also I'm curious to know does anyone know how much they ask for a deposit usually? My credit isn't bad at all but it isn't good either.

Co-worker of mine said that soon you will be able to get it unlocked but fuck paying that much for a phone.... Most I don't mind spending is $300-500 range.

I'd say wait for the Samsung Vibrant.

Even an unlocked iPhone will only get you EDGE service. My brother uses my old iPhone on T-mobile and he's waiting for the Vibrant so he can finally get a faster 3G connection.

My son loves his HD2, much moreso than any of the Android phones he had before. My wife loves her iPhone 3G. Both can be bought for really good prices (the HD2 with the credit of a new account or renewal option, and the iPhone gently used on CL).

I like Android, and I like having a physical keyboard... I'm still using my old G1 and I love it even though it's clunky and chunky

once the my touch slide has been out for a while and I can pick up a cheap one on CL, I'll get one. I like my wife's my touch, but I just can't do without an actual keyboard

If you want Android I would say get the MyTouch Slide or wait 2 days for the Vibrant (Galaxy-S). Just depends on whether you want physical keyboard to all touch.

If you want Windows Mobile I would say get the HD2 just don't be surprised that its still buggy.

If you want Blackberry go with the 9700.
