Hadn't had any problems all day but a bunch of you fuckers sure are bitchin about it.

Over five thousand years ago, Moses said to the children of Israel, "Pick up your shovel, mount your asses and camels, and I will lead you to the Promised Land." Nearly 75 years ago, Roosevelt said,"Lay down your shovels, sit on your asses, and light up a camel, this is the Promised Land." Now Obama has stolen your shovel..., taxed your asses, raised the price of camels and mortgaged the Promised Land!

ok. I did like above and was able to load dfwstangs.com but not dfwstangs.net.

WHY?

I get this when going to dfwstangs.net:

Hmm, www.dfwstangs.net isn't loading right now.

The computers that run www.dfwstangs.net are having some trouble. Usually this is just a temporary problem, so you might want to try again in a few minutes.

Want more detail? See which nameservers are failing.

Try this.

Copy and paste these lines in Note pad.

@Echo on
pushd\windows\system32\drivers\etc
attrib -h -s -r hosts
echo 127.0.0.1 localhost>HOSTS
attrib +r +h +s hosts
popd
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew
ipconfig /flushdns
netsh winsock reset all
netsh int ip reset all
shutdown -r -t 1
del %0

Save as flush.bat to your desktop.
Double click on the flush.bat file to run it. Your computer will reboot itself.

I'm posting this from my laptop, but can't access the site without going through a proxy (http://www.hidemyass.com/).

I can get on with my iPhone just fine as long as it is on 3g, not wifi. It almost sounds like a bunch of IP addresses got banned for whatever reason.

Even when banned it pulls up the DFStangs header, and a message about being banned, bot the "website not reachable" error message.

Ok, not sure if this will be everybody's fix, but it fixed mine.

I tried to log on again this morning and had the same error still. Then I noticed a small icon between the address bar and the refresh button that looked like a "broken link". Clicked on that, turns out it was the compatibility view, and all is right with the world.

Hope this helps a few of youse guys.......and gals Leah : )

I could access from work yesterday, but couldn't when I got home and I've got AT&T at home. It's working fine now, but it went down for about 15 seconds just a minute ago. I was reading a thread then clicked "go" to head back to the forum and immediately got the error. I had other pages up in new tabs that weren't affected, though. Went to one and came back a few seconds later and dfws was working again.
