Generic Laptop Power Cords?

Does anyone have experience with these? Are there any brands that you prefer or dislike? The ones from Toshiba for my Satellite are ridiculously expensive, but I feel uneasy about plugging my new laptop into a 20 dollar power supply.

TIA

Any time my power supplies died or were chewed through by my stupid dogs I just went on eBay and got the chinese variant for $20ish dollars.

They work perfectly, are cheaper than those expensive "universal" ones that really never worked for me anyways.

You're looking for the power "brick", right?

+1 for ebay - I would say check for an OEM one for cheap on there. Dell wanted $140 for my old laptop, I picked one up for $40.

Out of the universal power supplies, iGo makes some good ones that you can adapt to damn near anything but they are $$$(or at least they were last I looked).

The brick is part of it, but specifically I need the actual male input. It is bent and the connection won't pass through it.
