iPod Shuffle?

Do any of you have the current generation of the iPod Shuffle? If so, what are your thoughts on it?

I have a 2nd gen shuffle that I use all the time. IMO it is an excellent device. I has served me well for three and a half years but the battery isn't holding a charge anymore, so I'm thinking about the new shuffle. I just want some opinions because I haven't been too impressed with how the controls are on the earbud cord. My other option is to throw down a few more bucks and get a nano but I do like the smallness of the shuffle. That's probably one reason I use it so much..

Thanks for any input..

My son has one. He misplaces things a lot. FYI - it's useless without the headphones...

Yea, I've managed to never misplace mine, so I think it's good there. Yea, that headphone controller kinda sucks ass. I hear that they do offer an adapter for regular headphones but that's just more money.

To answer your question, my son really likes my nano and my wife's older shuffle. But when he lost the headphones for his current-gen shuffle, he wasn't too concerned.
