Heavy Rain

Anyone played it yet?

I must say, it is the most visually stunning game I have ever seen. If you like film noir/old detective movies, you must buy or rent this game.

It may not be for everyone as it isnt really action packed or fast paced, but the story is among the most captivating I have ever seen in a video game. The identity of the killer blew my mind into the next millenium. There are 20+ endings, and even minor decisions and actions will effect what happens to your characters.

I played the demo for ~10 minutes and then deleted it. Not my style.

It's ok, but the best game out right now is God Of War III. It's just flat out ridiculous how good it is.

1991 5.0 - Heads, Cam, Intake, Nitrous, Exhaust.

2004 Cobra - 750 rwhp

FOR SALE!! - Kenne Bell 2.2L with Accufab Throttle Body and BBK Hi-Boost Intake.

Played both stories on the demo. Hated it.
Story seems to be great, and it appears to be able to grab people. . . . i just couldn't get in to it.

Itll be boring for the first 20 minutes or so.

I have never been so drawn to a game's story. You will really connect with the characters, and be blown away by the revelations.

Also, if you like film noir then this game is for you. Private detectives, dark and damp settings, eerie prophetic music, and the criminal underground are all key elements.

Damn, I want someone to beat it just so I can talk about it without ruining it!

I played about an hour and a half tonight, the first is TERRIBLE, but after first little bit the story picks up really quick, i really did the FBI agents glasses and glove! I plan on having it beat by Saturday, then we can discuss, i have had three friends beat it and all got different endings!

Yeah once you get past the first bit the game really picks up. And ARI (the glasses) are definitely badass!

Yeah. That's part of the story line. Just wait. It's still evolving. You're going to have to make some tough choices...

Yeah, he's talking about a different scene. I got away from the hotel chase, but nabbed in the subway.

I got the best possible ending in this game. Was pretty epic.

SPOILER!!!!!

Ethan/Shaun/Madison moved into an apartment together.
Jayden killed Shelby by dropping him into a car shredder.
Lauren spit on Shelby's grave in the rain while cursing him.

No explanation of what happened to Blake.

Of course, it was much more dramatic than how I explained, but this is the jist of it.

Oooh. Replay it and get this ending instead....

Spolier!!!

Load On the Loose and sex up Madison, then forgive her
Escape arrest in On The Loose
Fail Rat trial (or pass if you only have 2/5 trials completed) and guess wrong location on GPS
Make Jayden give up in Solving The Puzzle
Have Madison guess the wrong password 4 times in Killers Place (password is Max)
Survive Killers place without knowing the password

orrr just watch the youtube clip on the ending...Also when Shelby gets away is a good ending too.

Glad you like it. This really is one of those games where you will either love it or hate it. A very casual player might get fed up at the lack of action and button mashing.

I thought that the plot alone was compelling enough to keep me glued to the screen.

I really enjoyed it - definitely different than anything else I've played before. The intro is slow, and I can see how it would not be for everybody, but it is worth trying for sure. I would think 8 out of 10 really like it.
