Beeping from pop up windows?

Anyone able to tell me how to turn off the beeping my laptop makes when a window pops up? It's not like a beep from IE either, it's like a motherboard beep or something like that, very loud.

Over five thousand years ago, Moses said to the children of Israel, "Pick up your shovel, mount your asses and camels, and I will lead you to the Promised Land." Nearly 75 years ago, Roosevelt said,"Lay down your shovels, sit on your asses, and light up a camel, this is the Promised Land." Now Obama has stolen your shovel..., taxed your asses, raised the price of camels and mortgaged the Promised Land!

Rather than type it out, follow this link:

You just need to do the device manager step - don't worry about the registry.

Thanks bro, that helped big time. Just reinstalled XP on this older laptop and for the life of me I couldn't remember how to disable that.
