IMHO the 13" macbook is pretty damn good bargain as lightweight portable setup. I was trying to buy my parents a small laptop for christmas and it really is hard to find one that beats it. I love my macbook, but I'll admit the 15" and 17" models are a little over priced for what you get, and you can buy more performance for less $$.

To the OP: Thats not a terrible price, but you could probably find a newer version for the same money.

900 is a bit high imo, since like it was said originally. you can buy a 13in mbp for 900 new.

Does it have the 8600gt? or is this one with the ati card?

I should have added, they occasionally get discounted. But I did have a co-worker buy his at Microcenter for 900 + tax, for the low end model of the 13in (2.2ghz, 2gb, 160gb).

Check out Macmall.com
