cat 5/6 cable???

Does anyone have any cat5 or cat6 cable lying around that they'd let go cheap? I'm trying to wire 2 rooms in my house with it but all I have is a bunch of 6 ft cords. I was thinking more along the lines of that big roll that comes in bulk and just cutting what is needed.

Can you point me in the right direction?

Thanks!

At Frys you can make your own lengths

To me, clowns aren't funny. In fact, they're kind of scary. I've wondered where this started and I think it goes back to the time I went to the circus, and a clown killed my dad.

I've got bulk rolls of cat5e cable. You're welcome to have some. It is at my shop, in Garland.

Fairly expensive though, IMO. Typically I buy premade patches from ebay and cut the ends...tends to be cheaper.

I bought a 1000 ft. roll of cable from Fry's for about $90 about 2 years ago. Just now ran out of cable running new lines to our EOC. Get it in bulk and just save it, you never know when you'll need 25 patch cables plus 25, 75 ft. cables.

bought cable.

I ended up just buying a 200ft patch cable from ebay for $17 bucks. I'm just going to cut what I need. The female wall plate adapers and the wall plates are expensive
