best FREE virus scan/removal?

trying to find the best FREE virus scan/removal place to go.

i looked at McAfee but didnt show anything for windows7

isnt there a quick place to go and get my pc checked and cleaned?

I use Avast but Im not sure if they have a Windows 7 version.

Microsoft Security Essentials....I used to like AVG, but found it was a memory hog.

I've started to use the MSE stuff myself. Not bad.

its ok. I havent been too impressed with its detection rate. Since I have it on my vmware for malware handling thats I guess a good thing
