Computer virus?

My computer has been acting wierd, for instance, in my browser, when I click the back arrow, most of the time it goes back 2 prior pages...??

My mouse doesnt actually click on the link unless I click a few times.

I noticed I have a lot of files that are duplicated and in these odd named folders (example: fi-FI, ko-KR, sr-Latn-CS) Most of them have the same modified date.

I have Vista....Anyone know what the hell is going on???

Mustang Sally aint got shit on me!!!

Had Norton. About 2 months ago, I got a trojan virus of some sort, and the IT guy at work told me Norton sucked and I needed to get Avast. So I diid.
I deleted what I found to be the virus and everything seemed fine til now.

Download Malwarebytes and install it. It'll ask if you wanna check for updates, allow it to then run a quick scan. When it's finished, if it finds anything, make sure remove selected is checked then click remove. Afterwards it will generate a text log file, post that in your response.

I forgot to ask, but are you using a wireless mouse?

Also, if you would, could you copy/paste the directory to said files? ie: C:\Program Files\DivX\DivX Codec

You can also go to http://www.virustotal.com/ and upload each of the suspect files to be scanned by multiple AV apps.

GO ahead and clean that file out.
Also, seems like some of your problems might just be due to a bad mouse. Swap out to another one and see how that works.

What files are being duplicated to those folder? Images? Videos? SOngs?

34 gigs is a small drive these days. Won't go far. Consider upgrading or getting a back up to save everything to.

Don made me remove my sig

If it screws up again I'd recommend doing a system restore. Pick a restore point a month before you got the trojan. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/306084

Also, it may be a good time to backup all your pictures and documents to a CDRW or Flash drive just in case your puter decides not to boot up.

Good luck!

First off, it's Vista and second, you NEVER use sys resto after having an infection. Most, if not all infect the restore points.
