she wants one for Christmas and i want to get one, but can't afford to just get one out right. is there a place that will do lay-a-way on one? i think that would be alot easier on me.

wal-mart stopped lay-a-way. there isnt a K-mart around me, not even sure where the closest one it, i heard Target doesn't do lay-a-way. i will check into them though. i know the price has dropped, but im not a DFWS millionaire. i will have to work my way up to that much cash, and it is alot to me right now.

You can still do lay away at Wal Mart, just not the same way and you don't have the product set back for you.

You just put money on a Shopping Card as you can until you have enough to pay for the item(s) in full. And of course pray like there's no tomorrow that the item is in stock.

Every person I know has done the same thing with their Wii, bought it, played it for 2 days, and then ended up selling it a few months later.

no shit, but it is always a viable option when true lay away isn't available. Of course, it takes discipline to avoid spending the money on something else.

I live in Wichita Falls. They are $159, and we're throwing in an extra controller for free too.

tonight we were at Wal mart and i went ahead just got one. it is her Christmas present, and there would be no way for me to "hide" $200, so she knows about it. we actually hooked it up tonight and played it some. she says that she wants it to stay put up till Christmas, but it was her idea to play it tonight. we'll see how long that lasts.

Just saw a gamestop ad that they had some deal to get a wii for $149

You had to trade something in to get the $50 off, not sure what though
