Burning AVI's to DVD....

Was wondering what some of you guys recommend for converting and burning avi files to DVD format. I've got some that I would like to be able to play on the DVD player in the truck.

I've used a couple of freeware apps in the past, but none that were really impressive.

A friend of mine recently recommeded ConverXtoDVD, but I haven't tried it yet - anyone have experience with that one?

ConvertxtoDVD is the eaiser of all the other dvd programs. Seems to be faster than the rest too.

I used the free version of convertX and it worked great but I wanted a free one. I am using dvd flick to convert mine. I used it to convert some mp4 files to dvd and it worked great. I recommend it if it'll do the avi's because it's free and easy.

I've used Nero Burning ROM and it worked fine, a little slow, but that probably has more to do with the speed of the system than the software.

Nah it's Nero just being slow. It's a pig too.
