What program to use for defrag...

just curious what u folks are using. Need to get something soon.

My understanding is that for Vista, the default OS one is pretty damned good. Otherwise, I'm a Disk Keeper fan, but am going to look at what Tx Redneck is referring to since I have not done so before.

Very good, just make sure you untick the defrag option.

can't defrag ssd's and there's no need to defrag my mbp either.

my torrent laptop does run diskeeper, but honestly I could care less if it gets fragmented to shit.

i've run a defrag on my SSD before...well, i ran the program and it didn't say i couldn't?

i use Defraggler

well i wasn't saying you couldn't, its not recommended by most to defrag an ssd in regards to wear leveling and using up write cycles.
