App Recommendation for the Iphone

Not sure if we have a thread on this, but what apps do you guys use daily or would recommend to others? Jailbroken or not?

I was lucky enough to win a $100 itunes gift card, so i've been using that to buy apps. I'm looking for recommendations for GPS, other than that i've found a few games I like and photo programs.

--Photography
Photogene - love it
Colorsplash - fun app
Genius - pretty good
CameraBag
CinemaFX
AutoStitch - really good for panorama

--Games
Inotia (Zeldish type game, haven't played too much with it but it was fun for the first 30minutes I played it)
Rolando (just like the PSP game, the name escapes me at the moment)

--Other
Urbanspoon (more of a gimmick to me so far, but than again I usually know what I want to eat)
Fandango
Facebook (duh)
BBVA (compass bank)
Speed Test and Speedtest X
Mover (haven't tried it yet)
Yelp (haven't messed with it yet)
Bump (haven't messed with it yet)

Jailbroken or not, what are your favorite apps?

A few games I like are Paper Toss, Ragdoll Blast, Tap Tap, Bejeweled 2, and Live Poker by Zynga.

I also installed craigsphone as I browse craigslist here and there.

Navigon is the best GPS IMO, haven't tried the new TomTom that just came out, but at 99.99 vs Navigon at 69.99 I dont think it's worth it.

On a plus side, if you are jailbroken you can take the program file in winrar and remove the maps you dont need from Navigon, taking it's installed size from about 2gig to about 400mb while retaining all the maps for states nearby.

A friend directed me to this site where you can download apps for free I haven't used it myself as I rarely use my Itouch. You just have to upload them to itunes.

Is there an app that lets you control pandora from the lockscreen? Something that looks similar when you're playing music from Iphone.

that's free

music controls does this, its a pay app but the trial allows you to control only pandora and ipod, which will work fine for you.

just double tap your home button and volia, you can pause, skip to the next song, or even bring up pandora. the only weird thing about this app is that it is automatically "backgrounded" when you press the home button, to close the app you have to pause the music, then hit the home button (or go to processes and kill the pandora app).

another good one. For me its real good because Im not good with band names and song names.

Its called Midomi music identifier...

Basically turn it on while a song is playing and it will listen and tell you what band name and song it is...

its cool. Even worked when I whistled the tunes to andy griffith and it pulled it up..

caller ID faker is SUPER AWESOME! I called my buddy to and made it look like his MOM was calling, then switched it to a disgused womans voice and he said I sounded like a chip monk

Shazam is another free app from store that tells you who is playing. It also stores it so you can look at it later.
