how to get IPhone before upgrade time

I have been with AT&T for many years now, and I am not eligable for upgrade till November but I am wanting to get an IPHONE. am I really going to have to wait, or is there someone I can call, or somewhere I can go to make it happen earlier without paying out the ass?

you can usually upgrade a month or two early for a small fee depending on the conditions

complicated..but you can add a line for $10 a month, then swap the phone numbers to the new phone and then dump your old contract when it expires...something like that.

I have already had someone mention that. I honestly think that is way to much effort.

What are the chances of me getting it if I call and mention my old phone is failing, and need a new one, and give them some BS sob story.

I think I saw in one of the press releases that AT&T would allow upgrades at 18 months for anyone wanting the new iPhone. Call and complain lol
