Duke Nukem Forever...

Anyone know the status of this game? The last I heard, it was in the hands of a developing company who basically squandered away 12 million bucks.

Such a sad waste of awesome gaming lineage, when tits had nipples, and the guns packed a legitimate punch

3drealms spent 14 years making a sequel and never did it. I worked in the game design field for quite some time and what they released to show their progress was extremely early alpha/early dev work - disappointing. I don't expect it to ever come to fruition, however I believe the franchise was sold to a company, who knows if they will ever do anything with it.

Although every article that I have read (regarding Duke Nukem Forever) points out the irony in the title of the game, it never seems to get old.

Wiki has the infoz you need;

I think Take-Two still owns the publishing rights to the game.
