AMD Phenom II X4 920 Combo AM2 Quad Core

I was looking at purchasing a combo with this chip and it comes with Gigabyte GA-M74GM-S2 motherboard for $297,
or same chip with Foxconn A79A-S AM2+/AM2 AMD 790FX ATX AMD Motherboard for $263, pros and cons?

I think after looking i will actually go with the AMD Phenom II X4 940, what board suggestions do you have or is one of the combos above ok?

That'd be about the biggest bang for the buck combo you can get right now with respect to new hardware.

Listen to my buddy, Jeff Bolton, from 6-9 AM Mon-Fri.

Think you need to format/reinstall your OS(XP), read this first.
