Sams club online has them for $245 with 8g hd, 1 gig Ram and includes XP and wireless card. I just ordered one.

I'm tempted. I dont know if I would want Ubuntu or XP. I dont really have any experience with Linux.

I was looking at that one too...I think it is a better deal, but do you have to be a Sam's member to get it? Too bad they won't take my freaking dell card!!!

Wow, I was just going to post about this, who has had experience with Ubuntu?...

I went and customized one with 2GB RAM and a 32GB SSD that I would really like, but don't know about finally changing over to Linux, and compatibility issues with the rest of my computers.

Unfortunately yes, you have to register and to do that you have to use your member number...but anyone's would work fine!

why would you want to switch from xp to ubuntu?

my acer aspire one is actually a pretty decent netbook i wasnt to sure about but i gave it a try and i am glad i did

but i must say i am going to get a mini 9 and im goin to upgrade the ram to 2g and i am goin to get a 16g sdhc card for it i think ill be good to go with this setup

webcam w/ mic
wifi card
Win XP

overrall pretty decent, and these things serve their purpose very well, i love the portability, size, battery life

Bought the Dell mini 12 for my son...

The Ubuntu is different, but he seems to like it ok....not bad for $400.00
