nope. i wont be in a party chat. like ill go online and play forza for a bit then switch to call of duty and the lil speaker that shows up by your name doesn't show up. so i unplug it and plug it back it it comes on for about a sec then goes off.

idk whats up with it. works fine and dandy on forza 2

Try another headset to see if you can isolate the issue to be with the headset or the game. If it's workin on Forza, then i'd say it's a setting on COD4. If the other headset does the same crap, double check your settings within the COD4 game.

and yeah the wireless headset rocks

Try making sure that your routers NAT is set to Open.

If you've never changed it.

I'm not sure how the NAT settings would affect the microphone in a particular game..but just for shits n giggles, lets roll with it and cover all our basis.

The router's IP address could differ based on the type/model, same goes for the username/password. What brand/model router do you have? We can find out what the default settings are based off of that.
