Dual booting XP & Vista

I found this article but can only assume that it's accurate. Does this sound right, how did you do it?

Think you need to format/reinstall your OS(XP), read this first.

There are tons of different ways to do it. The article you posted is just one of many that works.

Well it turned into a disaster. My best guess is Vista64 and XP MCE 32bit don't play well on the same drive at boot time. Vista would boot fine but not MCE.

On a side note, THANK GOD for Macrium Reflect, I was able to copy the XP image over and get it back going.

I've got an XP Pro / Vista Ultimate dual-boot setup but on 2 separate HDDs. I ended up saying fuck it and now run XP Pro with a Vista Ultimate virtual machine and a Ubuntu Linux virtual machine both on VMWare.

You willin to help me out in your spare time some time then? I'd really like to dual boot off the same drive and use Vista Ult. and NOT lose my 91+ gigs of stuff on XP.
